About Arthur Wolk
Aviation lawyer and author Arthur Wolk ardently supports humane animal shelters through the proceeds of his illustrated children’s book, Recollections of My Puppy. Arthur Wolk’s sentimental memoir, Recollections of My Puppy, details his first year with a Golden Retriever puppy named Boo.
A world-renowned air crash litigation expert, Arthur Wolk has spent more than 35 years settling cases for the victims and victims’ families of major airline disasters. Arthur Wolk has commented on airplane crashes for many of the world’s premier news programs, including ABC’s Nightline, CNN, BBC, NBC, and the CBS Evening News. To provide balance to his busy professional life, Arthur Wolk adopted an eight-week-old Golden Retriever. Arthur Wolk’s Recollections of My Puppy outlines the first year with his new dog, from the moment Arthur Wolk met Boo at a breeder to when the Golden Retriever reached adolescence.
Desiring the companionship only a loyal puppy can bring, Arthur Wolk rearranged his life around Boo, as retold in Recollections of My Puppy. Together, Arthur Wolk and Boo bring untold joy into each other’s lives. Arthur Wolk loves and cares for his new charge, while Boo’s charming and playful attitude provides a soothing measure to Wolk’s stressful but rewarding career. Arthur Wolk considers himself fortunate to have found an ideal dog like Boo. After publishing his book in 2009, Arthur Wolk decided to help other families find loving camaraderie in a pet. Today, Arthur Wolk donates all earnings from his book toward animal rescue. Profits from Arthur Wolk’s book have gone to New Jersey Aid for Animals and other statewide and regional organizations.
When he is not spending time with Boo, Arthur Wolk fights for air-crash victim’s rights against some of the aviation industry’s biggest names. Attorney Arthur Wolk has won nearly $1 billion in verdicts and settlements for his clients in the last ten years against firms like Piper Aircraft, Inc., Cessna, the Boeing Company, and Teledyne Technologies, Inc., to name just a few.
